MARASSI AL BAHRAIN HOLDS GROUND-BREAKING CEREMONY AND AWARDS MAJOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR MARASSI RESIDENCES
Eagle Hills Diyar, a private real estate investment and development company based in Bahrain, held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of the first revealed residences, Marassi Residences. The firm also announced the awarding of its contract for construction works on Marassi Residences to Bahrain-based Nass Contracting, a subsidiary of Nass Corporation BSC. The contractor has a 53-year history of on-time completion to the highest standards of large-scale construction projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain and across the GCC region.
Piling works are now completed on Marassi Residences, as part of the master development’s first phase, with construction of Marassi Residences expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2018. Marassi Residences houses a total of 281 luxurious one, two and three-bedroom apartments, connected to major lifestyle shopping destination, Marassi Galleria, and overlooking one of Bahrain’s most spectacular seafronts with 2km of white sandy beach. The high-quality homes have drawn interest from investors worldwide.
Dr. Maher Al Shaer, Managing Director of Eagle Hills Diyar said: “After a competitive tender process among the best contractors in Bahrain, we appointed Nass Contracting as main contractors for Marassi Residences. Marassi Residences will be one of the best places to live, not only within Marassi Al Bahrain and Diyar Al Muharraq, but in the Kingdom of Bahrain as a whole, a bold claim that our finished product will stand behind. Residents will have the best shopping, entertainment and dining experiences in the country linked to them, which is something no other residential development in the country can currently boast. With the support of our contractor partners we will deliver the project on-time, with piling already completed on schedule and major construction works beginning immediately.”
Commenting on the occasion, Nass Contracting Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ghazi Abdulla Nass said: “As a leading player in the construction industry in Bahrain, we are renowned for the quality and performance at our projects. We are delighted to having been given this opportunity by Eagle Hills where our skills will complement this prestigious development, and we will jointly remain focused to complete this project ahead of time and to the highest standards in terms of quality and safety.”
Marassi Residences offers a unique lifestyle experience, with astonishing views of the sea and nearby Muharraq Island. Featuring contemporary modern exteriors, the building standards of these beachfront homes are comparable to any found in major cities around the world, but localised to suit the requirements of Bahrain’s hotter climate. The design of Marassi Al Bahrain Residences was created by international design consultants.
Among Marassi Residences’ major attractions is its central location, close to all main highways and road networks, and offering convenient access to residents and visitors. It is also adjacent to the waterfront promenade and connected to other major Marassi Al Bahrain facilities, including one of the Gulf’s most innovative shopping concepts, Marassi Galleria, and two new-to-market five-star hotel brands, The Address Hotels + Resorts and Vida Hotels and Resorts.
Marassi Residences will consist of two 11-storey residential towers. Each elegant or modern unit will offer contemporary high quality finishes, with its own balcony, and built-in kitchen. Other exclusive amenities include a gym, children and adults’ swimming pools, children’s play areas, and dedicated parking.
Marassi Al Bahrain, spanning 875,000sqm, is situated on the northern shores within the master planned community of Diyar Al Muharraq, forming a key luxury component of Bahrain’s largest private urban project. Set to become one of the Kingdom’s major shopping, family entertainment and dining destinations, with 178,000sqm of gross floor area, Marassi Galleria will attract the world’s leading brands, many for the first time in Bahrain.
