MARASSI AL BAHRAIN SUPPORTS LOCAL CHILDREN’S CHARITY THE DREAMS SOCIETY

Marassi Al Bahrain - the Kingdom's unique beachfront project situated in Diyar Al Muharraq - has announced it is the Platinum sponsor of a fundraising Ghabga for local charity Dream Society, which assists in making dreams and wishes come true for Bahraini children with terminal or debilitating diseases. The Ghabga is expected to host over 700 people, and last year raised BD66,000, which were used to raise awareness of the children’s conditions and generate more support for the cause. To date the Dreams society has enriched the lives of over 100 children with conditions such as cancer, cerebal palsy, cystic fibrosis and other chronic illnesses.

Daniel Hammond, General Manager of Eagle Hills Bahrain commented: “With this support, we hope that Dreams Society can fulfill its mission during Ramadan this year, to make 30 dreams come true in 30 days for local children. The work of Dreams Society has a profound effect on the lives of children with long-term illnesses, giving them treasured memories with their loved ones, and Marassi Al Bahrain is proud to contribute to their valuable work.”

Marassi Al Bahrain’s 2km beach and promenade area regularly hosts community and complimentary activities for the public as part of its Marassi Weekends programme, and has hosted many festivities including a local vendor market, art and photography exhibitions, fitness sessions and watersports.

The project’s Sales Centre, located within the site of Diyar Al Muharraq, showcases interactive models of the mixed-use development for interested buyers.
